Back when I had a PC, it seems like you could download and activate an installer that would walk you through the process, but that does not appear to be possible with Mavericks.

I also have a USB cable, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to use it to turn the wired connection (which works just fine) into a wireless one. So it suggests that my printer can see the router somehow, but not connect. I printed my Network Config Page, and curiously, it it showed that 4 networks were discovered, including my modem/router. Specifically, I tried to connect using both the Push Button and PIN method, several times, but each time I got a Time Out error. I tried the steps advised here: as I run Mavericks (OS 10.9.3). (When I set up the old one, I still had a PC, and the process seemed simple and painless). My wireless modem/router recently conked out so my ISP here in Switzerland sent me a new one (same make as the old one), Technicolor TC7200.U, but I cannot get my c4780 to connect via wireless. I have read a lot of posts on this topic, but after 2 evenings and several hours of trying to connect, I am having no luck.
